IGNITE 2021

As we all adjust to the new normal of 2021, the summer presents an opportunity like few we have seen before.  After a year of being remote, struggling with the economic challenges of a pandemic, the social unrest in response to systemic racism, and the rise of extremist ideologies in America- the challenges we face are incredible.  But, oftentimes great challenges like this present tremendous opportunity as well.  As we look to the summer of 2021, we see an opportunity to aggressively work at starting to repair and move forward from the challenges of the pandemic.  Ignite is just such an opportunity- it offers a safe and fun environment, where students can build relationships, improve the reading and math skills, and learn some of the social emotional skills they will need to confront today’s reality and tomorrow’s challenges.  Ignite is the support many families are hoping for.

At its core, Ignite is a summer program that offers relevant and engaging courses for students, striking a strong balance of academics and the fun spirit lifting activities of a summer camp.  WIth an eye to tomorrow’s opportunities, we focus on different career paths of interest to students entering grades nine through twelve.

Students attend four courses each day, Monday through Thursday, and have a virtual trip experience on Fridays.  Class size is limited to 15 students.
